Custom Striped Rag Quilts by Mary Bobbins Boutique

Today Tracy finished two more custom rag quilts.  Since she has two little boys, she never gets to make anything pink.  She loves custom orders that allow her to do something different.  The first one was Hello Kitty themed so it was FULL of pink!  It turned out so adorable!

The beauty of quilts is that the pieces don't need to match perfectly because they compliment one another.  Looking at the pieces of the quilt separately, it looked a little crazy, but now that it is complete they fit together flawlessly!  The quilt below was made for a 12 year old boy and the sports and tie-dye fabric represent him perfectly.

Creating personalized pieces is fun! Be sure to check our Etsy Store Mary Bobbins Boutique to see what we have ready to ship now or message us for custom orders.

Striped Rag Quilts

My newest craft obsession is rag quilts. They are fairly easy to make and very snuggly! I prefer the stripes ones because they don't look as "old-fashioned" as the traditional quilt squares. These are perfect for baby quilts (make awesome shower gifts), throws and kids' quilts.

What's even better- we will be adding custom quilt orders to our Etsy Store- Mary Bobbins boutique! You can purchase one of these handmade quilts for yourself or a gift. All quilts are custom and handmade. Please visit our Etsy Store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/MaryBobbinsBoutique?ref=ss_profile

So cozy!

Here is another one I made for a boy. You can see how snuggly it is because it put him right to sleep!

We can make themed or character quilts for your little one too. Below is a Star Wars quilt for our biggest Star Wars fan, Evan (see the Who Wants to be a Jedi? post).
